Like Miles Davis or The Ventures- only it doesn't have that heavy intellectual or sugary feel. More reminiscent at times of Mazzy Star. Still this is the same Margaret that will make you sweat. Bluesy deep authentic melodies and incredible tone. So many tourists are trying to culturally appropriate what she does organically. It's not homage or trying to be- it's solid.
